HTC announces ICS-based dual-SIM Desire V and Desire VC - read the full textHTC has just announced its first dual-SIM phone the Desire V alongside a dedicated dual-mode version for China called Desire VC. The Desire V and Desire VC have identical specifications but for the network support the Desire V supports tri-band GSM on its secondary slot and quad-band...

Both the phones HTC Desire V and Desire VC do not have secondary/front camera. So much neglect on the part of HTC. They haven't realized that Video calling/chatting is so common & requires a sec/front camera.

I got the D-V last week. I can say No Regret. It's worth waiting for. Only complain is the 512 Ram. HTC can do better than that.

Gave up this phone after 1 week. When you search a contact or send a sms the phone freezes unexpectedly.
When your friends text you, their names are not reflected in the sms just the numbers although you have their numbers in the contact list. terrible. although they claim to be using 1Ghz processor but it feels more like 0.1Ghz.

HTC will launch NOTHING! Try to read better the sources: they says that HTC will introduce 4 smartphones (desire v, desire c, desire vc and HTC One S!!!) in Indonesia! They are already available in many countries, maybe under different name (HTC desire V is the HTC Wind T328).

What the hell happened to 'making fewer devices in 2012 in favor of quality'?!

It's a real shame they didn't make SIM2 with quad-band and 3G support. Could have been a real winner. Close...but no cigar!
