not being touch screen !!! im not commenting on phone favor ...its more about the comments that proceeded me ...have u ppl even read the article.... it has TWO TOUCH SCREENS .where did u read that it doesnt has touchscreen !!!..matter of fact the specs is some what high mid range ...just weird to bring flip phone concept back with the market shifting away from it ....i can certify them not releasing ICS for devices with 512 mb Of RAMS since ICS uses more than GB ..my phone is always at 400+ mb of rams used since updated to ICS ...but with 1gb rams why not !!!

Here is the deal: you get a shitty phone with a bad OS, but two screens and an extra keyboard.

By the way: if you can write an SMS blindfolded you can touchtype it too... Or watch you surroundings (probably the best advice...)

omg so many people whinging about it not being touchscreen! seriously not everyone likes touchscreens, get it into you thick heads!!! Personally think touchscreens still have a long way to go as playing games or using it to text is still a nightmare, that pop up keyboard (its on gsm blog) that is the future and the biggest game changer to ever evolve!! It will be interesting to see who brings this tech to their handset!

> In reply to cfm69 @ 2012-06-07 20:33 from t04{ - click to readWhy is there anyting whrong on liking someting the way it was before? All this touchscreen is a frenzy now, and they sure are useful, but it doesn't mean they are what everyone must like. They aren't the best for calls, nor texting, and unlocking a screen realy is annoying for me too.

I realy dream about one of those japanese Panasonic flip Androids, I loved my old Z530i, but that doesn't mean my Xperia X8 sucks, I realy like it, and I don't own a flip phone anymore because I wanted an Android with a good screen (and cheap...) If I could, I would buy one of those panasonic flip Androids.

The idea - maybe
Samsung - not at all

The problem is that Samsung launches a phone to a niche (in some sense) market with outdated software that is bound to deal with new problems, like switching screens, unlocking when flipped etc. Consequence: complete disaster. Buyers cannot expect any updates, IMHO or any other proper support for that matter. This phone is targeted at some old-fashioned people, who will buy it just to be nostalgic. But real user experience? I doubt it... I am not against this very phone itself, it is just my experience with Samsung and Android.

If this was available in my country I'd want it even though I don't like Androids. Flip phones are the best, I hate unlocking my phone 50 times per day (and I do have an app that unlocks it when I get a new message, but still...), and I hate touch screens. This is perfection... well, maybe it would be even better if Motorola was making it.
