3gs still has a big installed base, unlike the original iPad. So supporting it makes sense.

However android is more user friendly than ios in every way...

I own a galaxy S2 and an ipod 4g... Ipod is good only to play games, but s2 is good to play games and for all the other stuffs like browsing the web, watching movies etc...

Actually It IS Related To Processing Power Resulting Performance. And The 3GS, In Alot Of Cases, Beats The iPhone 4 In Performance Areas Partly Due To The Speed To Pixel Ratio Being Vastly Lower On The 3GS

Where as it was not til after the 3GS that mms was included you can look it up that there has been at least one os update where almost nothing but a couple lines of coding were changed while being announced as full upgrade just to nock out some hack. Meanwhile people were non to the wiser

Google Better read this. iPhone 3GS still able to upgrade to iOS6 while the first Nexus was left behind a long time ago.

iPhone 3GS released in 2009 still receive updates till date,,, Samsung i9000 released 2010 "GAME OVER" all praise Endroid
