I agree..the dual and quad core processors with ics..drinks battery....!!!
wrong, android can dominates because free of a lot apps when they dont have that point,i think they can like now.
Denzo, 13 Jun 2012This does not surprise me. One X, SGS3.. So much power, so much gigabytes - but still not as s... moreYeah it has nothing to due with the fact IOS is barely running because of limitations. Give IOS the function Android
Anonymous, 13 Jun 2012A lot of you may call intel bashing, creating noise, a marketing strategy for a late commer...... moreNo. You are missing the point. This is common knowledge that no mobile OS fully utilizes their multi cores. So we are right in thinking it's hype. You need to think before posting.
Anonymous, 13 Jun 2012Google is crap at softwares compare to Microsoft and Apple. That's why Android dominates right?
Anonymous, 13 Jun 2012Google is crap at softwares compare to Microsoft and Apple.s u r right man, coz those two guys design software n hardware also, nt like android every1 copy paste the software..... I still doesn't know y the hell thy r getting pc configuration to mobile phone quad core's its really lol..... And those quad core doesn't hve any new features its just well configured phone but it wasn't needed..... Phone never replaces pc.....
jackskellington6sic6, 12 Jun 2012Lol. SureNot saying that duel core is useless far from it, just that theres a lot to be to be said about optimisation of cores and as of yet 4 x the cores does not even mean twice the performance.
These quadcores should release 41MP camera smart phone.
Heck nokia did it with decicated cores. 1 for phone and 1 for camera.
What the hell are those 2 extra cores in quads doing??? faster by milliseconds in real life applications but processing power is just a match for an Intel based Gingerbread android lenovo phone?
Denzo, 13 Jun 2012This does not surprise me. One X, SGS3.. So much power, so much gigabytes - but still not as s... moreyeah man iphone4 is single core buttttt it have no good battery life and no it is not smoother than the sgs3 ore htc one x think before you publish the comment
O c'mon Nokia. You making me laugh. What do you want? Get us stuck in the past and never move on to multi-core processor phones? Whether you like it or not Nokia, Tech isn't going to wait for yah!
Who gives a shit anyway....They dont have anything to say on the mobile market... And so far their single cores dont impress either.
And all this talk about how many cores, how efficient, how smooth etc... I really dont give a shit as long as the phone suits my needs...
If you dont like it, STFU, and buy another brand/OS-base....
Denzo, 13 Jun 2012This does not surprise me. One X, SGS3.. So much power, so much gigabytes - but still not as s... moreSorry mate I work in a telecommunications retail shop and play with all the phone constantly and the I phone 4s doesn't come close to the likes of htcs and Samsungs superphone, what planet are you from?
This does not surprise me. One X, SGS3.. So much power, so much gigabytes - but still not as smooth as a single core iPhone 4 - let alone a dual core 4S!! Its all in the hips.. or in this case.. its all in the programming.
maybe , but at less if an update will come wich needs dual core the unit is ready
take a look at Nokia they don't use dual core or more core.. just 1 core only, so a phone who's using a multi core it drains more battery.
A lot of you may call intel bashing, creating noise, a marketing strategy for a late commer...? But you have to thank them pointing out something wrong with the current implementation so you could correct it. You are a fool if you ignore this and keep your pride. Consumers don't want any of your pride. We want what is best for the bucks we spend.
Google is crap at softwares compare to Microsoft and Apple.
DAVe^^, 12 Jun 2012The man speaks the truth. Lol. Sure
Tizen Takeover, 11 Jun 2012SOOOO True Intel. That's why I support Intel. Intel knows how to fully utilize a core BEFORE... moreThe man speaks the truth.
This is an important point about the "thread scheduler". A really interesting way to drive development in this area would be to have an app that charted "thread scheduler" performance across multiple cores.
Once the public could see how the cores were being used the feedback would drive development in this area very fast.
