Lol! Not having dual standby is an epic fail on Sony's part as the only benefit they're giving with this phone is not having to turn off to change sim...wow! They could've had something unique to bring to this price bracket, hell, I was looking at getting one as my holiday phone when I watched the vid on youtube yesterday. Today? Nah. Another faceplant Sony, your chin is looking mightily scuffed!

I like the design of this phone much better than Sony's current Xperia series with the same old boxy design.

@dr. G.Fatih Gokce
shame? Are you kidding, they released the beta version for Xperia Play and all the developers tested the device and all reported that most of the playstation games weren't working.. then why would sony update PLAY to ICS if the purpose of the phone wil lost?
No Offense! and please be happy with GB, its much more smoother than ICS. ICS is just for looks, I think.

SONY needs to work on their understanding of "Dual-SIM"

Usually when people want a dual sim, they're looking for one that's Dual Standby.

This phone (the single SIM version) could very well become a runaway success:
competes directly with budget Samsung droids like the Galaxy Y...but looks much nicer and with better specs.

Also, Sony, you guys need to wake up:
an entry level phone gets a 1500mAh battery and MicroSD slot - but not the XPERIA P?

with the very little difference in manufacturing cost between 800mhz and 1000mhz cpu it would have made more sense for sony to make these at 1000mhz so users have flash working in their browsers
