do you think that ram power usage changes if it's empty of full ? it's probably microwatts at best in the portion of the ram thats idle..idle meaning it's got a program stored but not beying addressed by the cpu. obviously ram thats in use will take power, but its normal. ram thats not used but only empty or full whould make a difference. I'd probably take more power just to measure the used power :D

> In reply to lalo @ 2012-06-20 15:23 from 3Tux - click to readram on android isn't used like ram on windows..the less free ram you have on android the beter....cause it wants to keep the most recent used programs in memory...so when you start something it's super fast..it doesn't have to load it from internal memory to ram ..it's already in ram.
Get it ? It's not like windows where free ram is a good thing, it's the exact opposite way, different tech..it's linux after all at it's core.

I thinkg it's really adorable how some peopel like to live in the past and wiht a cardboard box over their heads " dual core and quad core are useless, junk, nobody wants it" ..Aham..yeap..right..nobody...
They can't make the mfast enough..Whens the last time you guys have seen this happen in the mobile industry ?
And i'm not even going to mention certain people ..we all know who is always screaming "we dont need dua lcres, we dont want quad cores" ...yeah right..keep that wishful thinking going..i'm sure it feels nice to be proven wrong every time you want to do multitasking with music, gps and foto video recording at the same time and you puny single core can't decide where to allocate it's clocks to.

i just got mine pebble blue quad core version yesterday in europe after preorder from 21.5, its really kind of grey/chrome, and it looks very noble :)

everything is fast and smooth, only thing it reports only 780mb of ram and has usually 200-250mb free. but as i say its very swift, colours are beautiful and it has really great ergonomics
