This is outstanding. I'm very impressed with SE's move on the XPERIA. All of the hardware looks to be outstanding, with good software development to back it all up.
I'm looking forward to Sept/Oct!!!

@ educated shrimp..... no windows doesnt support 256k colors only 65k or 16m colors however as u mentioned 16m would be a drain on the battery life.btw dont think u can differentiate between 65k and 256k or 262 that easily...it is the resolution that matters put this phone beside a 262k phone with lower resolution and ull realise...the higher resolution will look way better. as for the e90 yes its a good phone i still have to be convinced all the probs are resolved though and one thing it lacks is a touch screen which by its very nature leads to a better browsing experience...what attracted me mostly was its resolution..much better that the qvga resolutions of the other pdas like o2 and htc...but now the x1 has vga resolution too...as for its stability ill wait for reviews on the new windows os of course...anyays till christmas is a long 7 months lol....maybe the phone will be released by august or sept but ill still wait a couple of months to see how it performs before plonking down my cash.

You dont need more colors than 65k in a phone!
I think it is one of the biggest news after Nokia N95, go Sony Ericsson!!!!

Why everybody is over excited by XPERIA? Its nothing then another PDA in market, and we still need to have a peak at OS 6.1...

windows mobile does actucally support upto 256 however this will be a much larger drain on the battery and system resourses for only a marginal improvment.
