After Microsoft betrayed Nokia by announcing No wp8 update to Lumia Nokia is hurt with future sales too... so i think its better for Nokia not to be MS puppet but rather have their own beautiful & efficient OS

Why should you put symbian on your good design phones and tablet, nokia? I think your first tablet will have Win8 os? I think there should be a problem between nokia and Microsoft.

I'm starting to get dizzy in the whole Nokia Microsoft deal. Now suddenly Nokia promotes its own "cloud" like service similar to Google and Microsoft. Also Symbian, the OS Stephen Elop have been so eager to kill is now getting this first. I'm totally lost here.

more than a sync solution, it looks more like a 'cloud-based' operating system (like that Google whatitsname netbook thingie)

in fact, to be more precise, it looks more like a deep integration of a 'regular' os + 'cloud' os.

i imagine existing phones wont just get a 'nokia air' app installed - rather i think its gonna be regarded as a major upgrade with deep integration into the os.. perhaps it'll come as FP2 itself.

not a symbian fan: merely a logician

The OS shown is 100000ss of times more lively & attractive than windows phone...

Mr elop come out of your well... Its not only echosystem but Usability, experience & Looks also matter the most..

Symbian has proved most capable with 808 & even GSMarena has mentioned in their review that the phone doesnt feel like running with single core at all.

Though im a windowsphone user i love symbian more & would have bought a Nokia 701 if Nokia had assured support for the OS including the app developement
