@Lonestar
From my understanding a lot of the phones that are shown at those shows are already in pre-production and the phones that they show are just the demo models that still have a lot of the bugs that need to be worked out. This is a concept phn. They are still working on it but it wouldnt surprise me to see it at a show in the next few years.

You know what? I would've rather have never even heard about this if it's gonna be 'several years' before even elements of this concept are introduced into handsets - I want this now!! Putting that video out there is pure evil, I'll never be able to look at another phone now without thinking 'yeah, it's cool and whatever, but... it's just not a Morph'. The iPhone was gonna be my next super gadget, but it just won't be the same now... I repeat, I want this now!!

Morphing into any shape will take time..but flexible/foldable display is on its way..Sony/Samsung are already working on it. We will see it soon. Cheers!!

think of the phones that was out 10 or 20 years ago........
then think what will the phones in 10 or 20 years time be like..????
then you can see that this type of concept phone is a relistic possibility.
if you watch a lot of si-fi movies ,,,ones like RED PLANET you will have see devices like this in the movie.
