Screen size is the diagonal, so it is easy to make the diagonal larger without increasing the width or even narrowing it. It is of very little or no value at all if the diagonal increase made at the expanse of the width, since it jeopardizes screen's usability, which is the main justification of existance for this extra-large phone.

there is no battle between iphone 5 and note 2. their customers are so different!!! i have iphone 4s and my 7 years old kid have samsung note. like a mature very busy person i do not want that stupid brick with me every second, with cheap korean name and plastic. for kids is very good indeed, but iphone 5 customers will never buy such a big screen,it is completely another league

you dont actually need a quad core processor phone, a 5.5" of screen , what you need is a phone that is easy to use ,not laggy and lost lasting battery life, the first note is enough

i really want one of these but the fragmentation nightmare that is Android sours the mix. Even if this thing makes dinner and irons clothes I couldn't buy it because I would have to keep buying new devices for updates. Android is not viable for early adopters on an average income. (Actually, if it made dinner and ironed clothes I would buy it, for my wife).

UGLY. This design is not fitting at all. Though it worked perfectly for SG SIII. Why not modify previous note design and still maintain the aspect ration of 16:10

Still really annoyed that the Galaxy Note 2 is coming out so fast when I only got the Note 3 months ago on its Australian release.
