i am using iphone and i don't find any disadvantages of not having flash in it, i think android will be fine without flash
AnonD-26870, 29 Jun 2012So afterall, Google is going Apple's way, sooner than Android trolls thinked. Panic, panic, pa... moreWe don't care if Google or Adobe stopped Flash because we still have APK of Flash and it will be ported to Jelly Bean!
Long Live Flash
damn Adobe! They should remain in developing Flash for Android and Linux becouse a lot of web sites still uses Flash!
I hope you all realize that html5 is MORE of a resource hog than flash.
wtf is going on?? apple is limited and overpriced. android without flash makes me pee on android's green robot. symbian is outdated and counting his last breathes. blackberry is useless. windows phone 8 even contracts with his mom to come out of her after her pregnancy ends.!! then wtf where should we go?? i condemn all !!!
Just make sure you back up the APK, should work on 4.1.
Apple can't make HTML5 popular alone n without google's help...they need google
are you reading what you're writing 'dude'? you're probably kinda high when you wrote your comment, first,
how does android die because web surfing on small screens is not good? if that's the case, shouldn't all OS and phones die as well?
also, Android has more than "web surfing" in it's arsenal, aside from the apps(which is a given) it is nearly desktop quality in experience, you could pretty much do anything that you can milk off the hardware, and i mean everything, (iOS users are limited to what Apple decides) with Android, you're pretty much the boss of your phone/tablet, and not you having to please/trick your phone so it could give your opinion a chance to probably work(iphones)
lastly, as much as i respect Nokia, since all my phones before were Nokia, but they could be really pricey also, Nokia's 'smartphones' with Symbian OS aren't really that smart, i mean, they still have a folder named "apps" for your 'apps' which are basically Java games(yes games, i can't really create a proper word document with Java)
now, i don't know with Windows 8, but i believe Android will still be the best smartphone OS for everyone --with or without flash (iOS is for everyone WHO COULD AFFORD it)
This is not the right time to do it completely.
HTML5 is still not ready to give the full internet so we may have apple style limited devices for years before it is fully implemented.
We all knew and wanted the end of the resource hog but even a final version that wont be updated in the play store so we at least have the option would be better.
So afterall, Google is going Apple's way, sooner than Android trolls thinked. Panic, panic, panic ...
Don't worry guys, you can hack your phone. If they removing adobe flash player from play store, you can find adobe flash player apk file online. its not big deal. STAYCOOL :)
androids only speciality is availability of the adobe flash ...and without it android will vanish...hope it happens soon...then people go for nokia windows phone..not for apple..because apple products are gud but overpriced..where as nokia also makes gud products(from budget products to higher end products) but they are not overpriced. so people will prefer nokia over apple...... CONCLUSION - NOKIA WILL RULE THE WORLD AGAIN.
HTML5 is 'Interrupted' acsi while actionscript is compiled into binary. Anyone who took basic intro to operating systems in college knows the inherited evil of html/Javascript is slow like chirstmas because each line is read as acsi, converted to binary, then displayed. A .swf is already in binary therefore skips the process each time it is called. HTML 5 is a downgrade.
