Maybe I don't want to root and install custom stuff myself. Samsung won't change until people point more at its extremely pathetic support. Galaxy Note is my last device from them.

It will be very easy to update since all the phones will run the same Snapdragon SoC with same Adreno GPUs. Games will have DirectX just like on PC and many games will come from PC games. Windows Phone 8 shares the same Windows NT kernel and many APIs with Windows 8. You can expect apps will come out very quick.

Galaxy Note already got ICS upgrade but KIES threw up so many errors that i gave up and sent it to customer care for upgrade.Banging your head against a wall is less frustrating than using kies.

Crappy Samsung should learn from these guys. I have a Galaxy Note and I STILL don't have the ICS update. Rumors say we won't even get android 4.1 on Galaxy Note. FK your support Samsung! I will NEVER buy your hardware again. Not until you learn to update your phones properly.
