I do not understand the idea of dumping symbian . Rather they should keep it as secondary OS just as bada by sammy .

> In reply to Nokia Fanboy PRO @ 2012-07-02 13:13 from kJq6 - click to readReally, thats funny, because im sure nokia are still laying people off. Thats not a sign of a company making money with a thriving os,,, never mind aparrantly two... (WP and symbian) I want nokia to do well, i really do, because if they do, there is more for me to sell, and i have a lot of respect for them, being the company that truly revolutionised mobile phones. They need to get back on the bike, because the original mobile giants are small fry at the moment. Want to love WP, but it just doesnt quite live up to things yet. It may do in time, but not yet.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-07-02 11:26 from IV8U - click to readAndroid Fanboys are insecure geeks and they fear that Symbian and WP is getting better and better and will take market share away from Android.

That Green Robot POS OS is a copycat. It copied Symbian, Maemo and iOS and called it "innovation". It's buggy, full of malwares, and it's power hungry. It's so bad but the geeks are on denial about its flaws. They will never admit Android's flaws.

And those apps on Google Play are low quality apps. It's just that the geeks never tried WP and iOS to know the difference.

Android is an over hyped OS with more Cons than Pros.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-07-02 11:26 from IV8U - click to readI do not see why people precept Android as rival to NOKIA. In the end NOKIA is only concerned with the hardware part now. NOKIA can only benefit from adopting Android just like other manufacturers like Samsung do. Why ignore other OS? Samsung also produces WP and dropped Symbian. So why NOKIA is so special and ignores Android? Their financial status speaks loudly that their strategy is just wrong... wake up people...

Still on NOKIA N70... All buttons programmed to open favourite apps at fast response... Customized task utility.. Let me have your chunky android or iporn (and belle also) for like 2mins, all i need is just one file from it and my N70 will hack the living hell outta... Red button minimize and online streaming.. ShoutCAST have never being so wonderful on jukebox... Hey don't ever use mufflers on any andyroid or iporn or recent belle cos it will rapture your eardrums with stupid high pitch sound, but rather try mufflers on N70 with jukebox's sweet 10 bar equalizers... Fonts? Relax cos we now have a fantastic font and can change to any... Watch how i keep notes by just holding a button... Memory card? Relax is 2gig and very easy to swap

This Android trolling here & there, if i am so satisfied with my Android do i really need to care why other OS is launching, they are just afraid of their own shadow, worried that other OS is improving & soon surplus them.

I use both android and s' belle. I like the android performance better. BUT I think it's only because Google is backing android devt while Nokia practically abandoned Symbian. If Nokia redeveloped new Symbian from the ground up Nokia fans will be happy. Unfortunately Elop chose Nokia-suicide by prostituting Nokia to Microsoft.

To all fandroids: If symbian is such a crappy, dead os then why r u bothered to comment here. Are u not happy with ur droid???? Leave it to them, who still believe the OS is much more stable than others. U enjoy ur tons of apps and games. We don't need it. Whatever it is, it's perfect for us.
I wonder how the dead OS gets over 115 comments.

To all android users who critisize NOKIA for Symbian:

Are you satisfied with your Android phones? Are you happy that every time your phone is updated to the latest Android version, you have to get used to the 1.000.000 bugs that come with it until the next update? Android CANNOT be called a stable OS. If you disagree, just visit XDA-Developers site and go through all android based devices comments.

Symbian is just smooth. You know that every time you get an update, things will go even better. They do not jump versions just for the hype, which makes them "not-trendy".

BTW, I currently use Android myself, Xperia S.

I gotta feeling that the devices that are going to get this update are those which are compatible with the feature pack 1 already, since hardware-wise, they're identical to 808.....I can't wait to receive this update for my 700!!

and please, enough with the feud between android and symbian already. we all know android is the superior one so please, enough trolling.
