youno what? when u compare the SL to a phone that came out a week ago of course its gonna fall short, but when you rate it on its own, it is a fully capable machine with the s3 and it doesnt need the s4.
I hate ios and samsung phones are just plane ugly and uninteresting. this phone is a breath of fresh air and has the best screen in the business.

As far as I know, in Sony's nomenclature, "L" stands for Large/Larger. So, it can mean "Larger screen", "Larger RAM", Larger Memory, etc.
Besides, there is no dual-core (that I know) nominally clocked at over 1.5 GHz. So even if this L has anything to do with the CPU, it is likely that Sony are upgrading from a dual-core to a quad-core.

We all know that's not gonna happen.
Xperia arc, arc s, Xperia s, they all failed with an outdated hardware.

i hope it won't be the case as arc s and arc
if this would be the case it means that no xperia phones better than xperia s will be released till th end of the year, it will still be the flagship. and that means that xperia gx and sx won't see an international version
hope that won't be the case.

> In reply to Diagrafeas @ 2012-07-04 14:17 from JEa9 - click to readyes, most likely an LTE version of Xperia S. I heard from sources in Indonesia that they are pushing LTE out as well, due to the large number of phone internet subscribers now and the telcos not making so much from calls/sms anymore, so they are pushing HSPA+ and LTE services to break even again.. It's kinda funny and confusing how the telcos come up with different prepaid packages for internet subscriptions on you phone in Indonesia.. and that is the most likely situation.. This phone might be a hint to that..

In my opinion maybr the 'L' stand for limited version of xperia s. Maybe its will come with high core processor and red color with aluminiun unibody design. Cause xperia p recieve very a good respons for their unibody. Well its just my opinon.. as long all lebel under sony iam happy with it. :-)
