Rumored Sony Xperia SL LT26ii might bring a CPU upgrade - read the full textAbout a week ago, a Sony Xperia SL LT26ii showed up on the Indonesia's version of the FCC. The site offered no info on its specs, but immediately there were speculation that the SL will be to the Xperia S what the arc S was to the Xperia arc. Now, a tipster has contacted XperiaBlog and told...

There will be another flagship from Sony this year. Xperia XL is rumored to be what Arc S was last a year (higher clock on processor). And other rumours says Sony will blow out all other companies with a super flagship for Q1 2013.

This news has several days ago...

I live in Indonesia. I think, Indonesia is priority of Sony.

I hope xperia SL is NXT line with upgrade better processor, better GPU and still using NXT design with transparent bar.

To those on here whinging about dual core, get over it. Sony has always stated it will not make quad core phones just for the sake of it. The iFruit is still one of the best 3 phones around including quads. If you don't like it hit the high road. Not sure why you would want to waste your time commenting.....Oh, sorry you obviously know more about the business than Sony!

> In reply to Xperia SL 63 AMG @ 2012-07-04 12:58 from vfxH - click to readYes, that's what I love Sony to release 4.7" or 4.8" screen size. Not only CPU upgrade but as well as bigger screen. If that it happens for Xperia SL, then my Xperia S will go to take the Xperia SL (provided it has 4.7" or 4.8" screen)

Too little too late I'm afraid...

The S was already a year behind in terms of specs...

This is rumoured to have a beefier dual core, nothing more...

It's at the very least what the S should have been first time around... releasing this kind of garbage 6 months later is unforgiveable...

They need to join the tech race or get out of the market, they're losing so much money constantly releasing out of date phones... it's becoming a bit of joke...
