Samsung is ready for Windows Phone 8 to explode. Windows Phone 8 only uses Qualcomm chips for easy software updates and better optimized games.

in all fairness this is actually brilliant just as samsung will be able to take a peak at qualcomm's chip to give them selves a boost of where to advance their own chips also samsung must be making a killing by being one of the biggest semiconductor OEMs
so fair play to them

> In reply to aodxxl @ 2012-07-04 18:58 from 0Uvv - click to readQualcomm is the manufacturer of closed source hardware. It's harder to port a version of Android to a snapdragon than to a comparable exynos or omap. This will make it near impossible to upgrade phones once manufacturers decide to wash off their hands.
Oh, a qualcomm monopoly in Android will harm everyone in the business. The costs will rise and this will be borne by the consumers.

"Samsung, one of Qualcomm's main competitors in the business with mobile silicon"
Really ? What chips are they using in their Omnia & Focus series of windows phones ? :P
My opinion is that Samsung is going to launch heap of windows phones in coming months like they did with galaxy series.
