Though a keen Symbian user and very interested to own an 808 in Thailand (US$630), I'm holding back and seeing what WP8 PureView products show up as that seems to be Nokia's future. My bets are hedged though and I'm keeping my fingers in both pies; if the WP8 PV is a lemon, I'm grabbing the 808. In the meantime, my N8 serves while my attention is on the 808.
Buying a new Symbian phone in this world of android, iOS, and soon to be WP8, would be silly. Anyway, the one review so far on Amazon, http://bit.ly/Pureview-808 , is very positive.
The finns don't see a great market for this device in the states.
it's coast 540$ in DUBAI
and come with stand and some Accessories
looks good here
$597 in philippines
Even at 400 dollars..I would keep my Galaxy S2 any day...was a loyal symbian fan...but now, I realised it's not just about the camera...that's why I sold my Nokia n8 and got me a galaxy S2...and I don't regret it...I need a great phone with a good camera not a good camera on a phone...
599EUR in Estonia :)

This is being sold for the equivalent of about $1000 USD in South Africa. Nokia need to lay off the crack.
From Malaysia. Already bought one, no regrets so far.
The Video and Audio recording is fantastic. Who needs that many apps anyway? There are only 30 days in a month, would you even have time to use 30 apps?
I tested Lumia, did not like the laggyness. Symbian Belle is quite smooth and is capable of multi tasking.
Batery could last up to 3 - 5 days if no Wifi/ 3G is used.
I think Nokia should keep Symbian and keep enhancing the OS.
Lumia Pureview being announced this September...
Why on earth would you want to pay that kind of money (£450ish in UK) on this?
Bizarre...
You're not telling me it cost that much to make either...
Prototype phone only, not a real-world handset...
Let's see what September brings...
In some Middle Eastern markets it's 549 USD. I'm sure somewhere it's much cheaper. Don't blame Nokia, blame your country for the crazy prices.
Overpriced for sure, it has average hardware, save for the screen and camera.
Symbian is still the most complete MobileOS, but it dead, quite sad.
