> In reply to Windows Phone Fan @ 2012-07-20 13:43 from PZT@ - click to readLOL being number 1 on Amazon for a couple of days means nothing. You forgot to take into consideration that the Lumia 900 was not only FREE, BUT Nokia even paid customers $100 via a rebate. Despite this fact Nokia was still only able to sell FOUR million lumia devices WORLD WIDE. This figure includes the Lumia 800, 710, and 610 as well. 4 different models and only FOUR million devices sold? That's laughable!

> In reply to Samsung Fanboy Pro @ 2012-07-20 10:44 from 3af5 - click to readI try to avoid Nokia's quarterly results news as it has little to nothing to cheer about. The Lumias are selling but it's not selling as many as I had hoped. I initially thought it will outsell the SGS 3 but it's now clear that people choose that crap. I really can't believe that Nokia only sold 4M Lumias while Samsung had a record pre-order of 10M SGS 3.

I predict that WP 8 will destroy Android and put a stop on that OS that killed my beloved Symbian. I wish MS will file more lawsuits and win against the Android OEMs and make selling Android phones more expensive than selling WP 8 devices.

I am blaming the Android fanboys for Nokia's misfortunes. Anywhere I go, Android fanboys says that Nokia smartphones are outdated and people believed them. When the people believed their lies, Nokia's profits went down.

Damn you Android fanboys!

I used a nokia e63 for a while ( 2 mp camera and qwerty ) and sold because i needed a front camera for skype video chat and 5 mp or more back camera. I went to market and found nokia e5 as upgrade but front camera was missing and less battery power and screen was not good enough too. I purchased android. it is good but not satisfactory. why nokia left the symbian in the way. Come on nokia, make some good models like e6 etc in lower budget. I still love you but miss you.

Nokia was hit because it's good hardware and own software i.e. symbian. They dropped their own reliable software and tie up with microsoft, which was already not so successful. Now nokia have the same hardware quality but their software has much restrictions unlike android. So reason of failure is microsoft, not the nokia itself. Need more example? What was the need to announce that current lumia phones will not get windows 8 phone update, at the time when nokia just launched its flagship lumia 900 worldwide.
So microsoft don't care about nokia. it sells its software to nokia as well its rivals samsung,lg etc. Nokia is loyal but microsoft is not.
And Microsoft is paying for it - Microsoft reports first-ever loss in 26 years

Sales are the best, and listed as Number 1 in Amazon.

Zune restrictions can be fun when you are used to them.
People shouldn't be downloading H264 BRRips to their phones anyway to watch.
