Personally I like android OS rather than iOS. Its all because of limited functionality. Why simply Apple cant provide mass storage mode for simply copy-paste mp3, mp4 etc files. Why Apple force users to use itunes.
Android have just freedom. Do whatever you like with phone.

> In reply to Fandango @ 2012-07-24 14:49 from M3s@ - click to readSamsung, HTC, Nokia etc have dozens of varieties but Apple has only one model. If they have to change it, they can go with the universal miniUSB connector.
I do not know about thunderbolt technology but this thing is sure that Apple must have some business model in mind for changing connector type coz like we have seen things in the past they provide good features but with restrictions that helps them in promoting their business in a manner which their customers feel they are superior than others.

They all made some crap products in their lives, so Apple should waste time creating more crap products too?

I seem to recall Samsung have had 3 types of connectors in their lives, same as Nokia, Sony have had 2, Alcatel have had 3, HTC 2 and Motorola 4! So apple changing their design once in 6 generations of a particular handset is perfectly acceptable as far as I'm concerned. Stop trying to pick fault with Apple's business plan, I guarantee there's a good reason for it, probably to do with thunderbolt technology, accessories will be a bonus for them, not their business model.

> In reply to Phone Man @ 2012-07-24 12:04 from 3AxW - click to readiPhones have so limited functionality (Without Jailbreak) while Android is so customizable where you have the function to install non-market apps in the settings app itself. You can even find apps that help you customize your phone in the Google Play Store (Formerly Android Market) whereas in iOS they restrict that. iOS have also limited functionality in their apps e.g Battery apps in iOS can only predict to the nearest 5 or 0 e.g 75 and 80. whereas in Android the apps have the freedom.
