Snapdragon S4 Pro benchmarked, crushes older chipsets - read the full textThe lucky geeks at Engadget got their hands on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MDP (Mobile Developer Platform) and managed to run several benchmarks on it. The Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset in question is APQ8064 - with a quad-core Krait processor and Adreno 320 GPU. It should come as no surprise then...

Thats funny cause the exynos 5450 will be a monster with quad a-15 2ghz and the mali t658 gpu.

android will continue to have the highest customization which i appreciate..and it also continues to have lag in ui which i don't like..see iphone, windows phone and meego..they are highly optimized ulike android..in the process of decreasing the time lag they add better and better hardware..that means better hardware capability..but actual performance is improved only a little without proper optimization..Hardware to software optimization is the key for good user experience..not only good hardware..

I afraid sometimes the chip maker is just to optimize their driver for benchmark application so it will give more vibrant result. As this kind of trend has been there a long time where nVidia is also doing this in their GPU starting from GeForce FX series.

Well, they've safely crushed the quad core illusion (4 cores aren't much better than 2)... What does this say for the iPhone 5???
