Having read the previous comments,I can't help but wonder..How much longer till one is able to order a smartphone just like a computer,BTO,selecting everything to our will and then having that custom smartphone, built and sent to us within a month..and just to quote "Beavis & Butthead"that would be coool.

This CPU will be packed in the new WP 8's coming this autumn or early next year. Can't wait to see them fly. :D

I guess Qualcomm finally caught up and surpassed the pack in fine fashion. Back in the day, Qualcomm always made superior CPU's (and still do) but really, really suffered in the GPU department.
Now, it seems, their CPU's have become all but unbeatable and their GPU's are finally up to snuff which by default makes them formidable. It was kind of bound to happen, they just needed the time to get a handle on GPU architectures. I just hope they get released soon enough in hopefully, relatively affordable packages..

> In reply to xpert @ 2012-07-25 17:15 from vjXC - click to readApple is using Samsung to manufacture their chips. They have just started the moved to 32nm HKMG with some of their chip. You should expect apple to stick with Samsung and continue the transition to 32nm over the rest of their produce range.

This is an exciting results, by the time they can integrate it to fit in a smart phone, it will be the time the Galaxy S4 is released :-) but the price is gonna be steep coz the developers release costs a $1000 lol wonder how much it will cost when its in a smartphone lol

Not sure why you're all excited for, Nvidia will be bringing out there Tegra 4 next year which will blow this out the sky. Microsoft will regret partnering with awful Qualcomm and miss out on teaming up with Nvidia who will likely now be showcasing their's in android phones.
