> In reply to John @ 2012-07-27 03:52 from IaHY - click to readWhy,it's hardly the end of the world is it? The thing here is Apple acting like they own the world and invented life itself, when in fact they're just a consumer electronics company in the same business as companies like Samsung etc,but in this case they act like spoilt brats and the rest don't.
This is probably the most insignificant feature on a handset packed with others that more than make up for it,it's like saying you won't buy a car because you don't like the font on the hazard switch.

Prevention is better than cure. Apple should not get any chance to sue this hotcake.

Why dont they just leave it missing.to prevent possible future lawsuit.certainly better than having devices that cannot be sold later on..
i mean even the not-so popular galaxy nexus was halted for a while, definitely apple wont take their chances against s3 being a bestseller, they wont let it run freely until the new iPhone comes out.

If it was removing useful feature from the Os, it is not 'update', it is 'backdated'. Anyway, i used such a feature since the days of n73 and i know that Nokia smartphones had this feature long before the image of iphone even emerged in the mind of steve jobbs. If it had to be patented, then Nokia had to be the holder.

I really don't see why this is that big of a deal to be honest but I guess it's good that they're bringing it back. I mean its a decent feature but nothing Make or Break.

Wow! Now there is a patent for Searching? U.S. Judges are one of the most rediculous! How could you patent searching?

Apple sucks and will get what is coming to them...
They are getting bad press all over the globe with these ridiculous patents.
Apple invents nothing, they just steal and then just patent everything. Remember it was Apple who invented the rectangle!!!
