Motorola Kodak video leaked

In my opinion Moto needs to merge with a technology company, that knows how to make TFT, Music player, digital camera, camcorder and Computer to survive today. Kodak is just in Imaging sector. It wont help much. My bait is LG.

People should not judge a handset by its brand name or company's history. Sometimes a bad company produces things which are unbelievable at first. Always think positive.
And if you say that Motorola needs a partnership, it already did with Kodak. The candybar 5mp phone is only an appetizer for Moto's brand new main course. The RAZR influence wil slowly fade and the ROKR E8 morphing keypad will be the next trademark of all Moto phones.

4@tK: isn't it the same shell also ? They keep insisting on that thin profile with flat keypad style since the RAZR. Varied, but still similar concept.
Or has that become their brand image like the "Motorola" name and logo ?

I think its about time for motorola to do like what Ericsson
did when ther'e at the brink of falling down, remember they
merge with high calliber sony and in span of few yrs, arises
Sonyericssons goodhandsets.Maybe if they do that..They'll
rename it MOTOKO (lol)

You can tell who the nokia and se fanboys are in these comments.
@ I.hate.qwerty
What you said is like saying why were nokia so stupid not to make the n95 and n96 an obvious mutimedia phone without a qwerty keyboard. Something that is needed on those phones.
Well done motorola on some nice phones.

great depresion was 75 years ago.. It can't compare with the situation of Motorola.. motorola will be always be a company of pseudo "fashion" phones... nokia or SE must adquire motorola before it will go to a really bankrupt..

Why are so many people very negative about Motorola and any of its developments? Is it because it did something drastically wrong in the past wherein it cannot return to full gear in the future? Please, even USA got its Great Depression in the early 20's and look at it now, a superpower.

Isn't the clamshell phone with the huge external touchscreen supposed to be the new iDEN phone from Motorola? Or different? Is iDEN only CDMA?

Those lower-ended sliders at the end of the video deserve no praise at all. Only the phones in the begginning.

Anyone notice the ROKR with the physical (real) buttons? Looks like a posible lower-ended music device from Moto. But what really caught my eye was the first slider in the video.

The flip phone with the huge external screen... it has the same positioning of the camera as on the Samsung G400 (Soul). So what it means is that when you flip the phone open it will show on the front where the keypad is and where the internal screen is. And when it's closed, the camera apperas on the back. My guess is that it will have HSDPA and video-calling capabilities.
