Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III local search is back - read the full textA few days ago Samsung removed the local search functionality from the smartphone's search widget with an update. An Apple patent violation was supposedly the reason behind the downgrade. Yesterday though Samsung said the local search removal in the international Galaxy S III was "inadvertent"...

I've been trying to update my Galaxy S3 all day but all I get is the message.....
'Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try later'.
Is anyone else can answer what has happen there...???

Even non touch screen phones had some functions way better than the iphone back in the day. The iphone just created this false image. Not to mention it was not the first phone to use rounded corners....or the first electronic or even product in general. Where on earth do people get these things? You are a fool if you still believe otherwise.

We thank very much for the pioneers of touchscreen in 2004: Nokia 7710 and SonyEricsson p910. They were bulky,very complicated to use for common people and for this reason touch screen technology were almost forgotten UNTIL...2007 WHEN WAS LAUNCHED THE FIRST IPHONE. Its simple elegant plain design-thin and rounded, with touchscreen operated by intuitive human natural gestures, combined with applications store,with super fast internet browser and super powerful and musical ipod made from the first iphone an icon. After 2007 its simple plain design with little rounded corners was copied shameless by samsung,lg,huawei,zte,meizu. The simple human gestures wich made the iphone the most wanted toy were also been copied by koreans and chinese shameless!!!.
I will remember some of the gestures in premiere on Terra for touchscreens,first seen on iPhone:

1-SLIDE TO unlock,answer,power off
2-Double Tap to zoom or zoom with 2 fingers
3-The smooth inertia wheel for contacts
4-New interface for sms and mms with bubbles like in comics magazines

Now do you remember what Samsung copied from Apple? ALL !!!

Local search is gone in Galaxy S 2 4.0.4 update.. please fix it!!!!

It's written in what us Brits affectionately call 'Korean English'. i.e. You will Bolt A put washer B in hole D and left clockwise'.
