I have the S3 the S2 and the Galaxy Note and nowhere or at any time did any of these phones ever slowdown becuase of it getting "HOT"????Not one of these phones had ever done what you say or have read anything on any review site that said or even mentions anything like like it.
So here is the deal, when it comes to Cameras I only buy Sony, I have quite a few ranging from Dslrs to small Digitals as well as the best Video Cams and they all SONY. SO WHY WON'T I BUY A SONY SMART PHONE??? SEEING I AM SUCH A SONY FANATIC???
For the same reason these other people are telling you about,
That there is not one Sony Smart Phone that can compare with the Galaxy Flagships. To me it is all about the best when it comes to smart phones and untill Sony can produce a Smart phone that outstrips the competition I will refuse to buy one.

Second, the Dual core Xperia S is faster not powerful but faster and Android use more dual core CPU than quad core CPU.

Third, the advance what the SGS3 has over the Xperia is the quad core CPU that doesn't use the potential of the cores.

Keep dreaming boy i have both device and the Xperia S is far more better and well designed than SGS3 what people like you always brag about it is has a quad core CPU, only you don't mention is is useless at the moment.

And yes, a phone running on very low hardware, properly optimised with software can do wonders. Obviously, the SIII is a lot more powerful than the Xperia S. But Samsung softwares are poorly optimized. Why? Even Android OS is not capable of using the full advantage of a quad-core. So you can not really judge the phone by it's benchmark results. :)

Sony is quite good at that themselves with all the tech expertise and lots of patents on their own. And for information, most electronics/Tech company's out there are using one or more licenses from Sony.

If it had an dual-core Krait i could buy this, instead of SGS3. But I am dreaming of phone with ~4-4.3" HD screen within more compact size than this.

Not to slim not to bulky around 10mm and the edges actually still have round shape. And by having 4.3inch makes xperia s have the highest dpi. by refer xperia s sale records it obviously consider competative product. The processor with snapdragon s3 with sony twist really makes this devices stands up among newest processor.

I do pity Sony because why the hell one would buy a phone that's almost indentical to a previous one Xperia S, and sports an old-generation chipset (Snapdragon S3 instead of S4)?

Sony - do you really want to be of any significance in mobile market? So stop releasing this BS. Go grab yourself an S4 chipset, 1-2 GB of RAM, add at least 2000 mAh battery, 720p screen and you're golden. As for the S4 I have doubts because if you start designing a new phone now, the S4 will be outdated at the release so the situation would be the same as with this phone. Just get yourself better R&D department.
