is the issue of better quality after 5 mp or even 3 mp.
more than that will cause parasites that must be wiped out with phones software. a total waste.
A ideal camera phone to make with todays tech level
is a mixture of n95+viewty+iphone

do you mean the same apple that released a "high end phone" with a 2MP camera when the industry average for high end phones was 3MP? IF apple decides to release another phone, it most likely will not be a leader in the camera arena

To the poster below: Your Sony will not be obsolete. A 8MP phone will not beat an 8MP dedicated camera for some time yet. The quality of the shots you take with your Cybershot camera will be amazing compared to this.

I was sorta scared this would happen although i knew it would... so any ways 8 MP =| man its no fun whats the use of having my 8MP cybershot now... i donno i guess at times its just nice to take pictures from a camera than a camera phone...
p.s. i do know its a module and not the phone it self.

quality... well, it'll be awful. it's just a "mpx rush", not a QUALITY rush. stupid marketing movement for bird-brian people. don't be naive. wanna (relatively) good camera in your cell - buy ONLY these equipped with AUTOFOCUS and MACRO MODE. 2mpx SE k750 will be better than this Samsung CRAP.

has everybody gone crazy....this is not a phone its a cameraphone module which means this is what the cameras are going to be ilke....it doesnt mean the phone is going to be that small wow lmfaooooo it make me crack up....
to that person that said oohh their has to be insurance on the phone because its too small...well buddy im sure the phones issnt going to be that small only the god damn camera

Make sure that there is insurance avaliable on this phone ... as people will tend too loose small things and m sure this willl indeed misplace soon...
