there's no point in making an 8MP phone camera if the quality is subpar. I'll take a bigger camera module at half the pixel size if only they could make a good quality camera! what's the point with all the noise in a photo, using a small sensor with a high pixel count is pointless.

i hope this is a quality camera! 1cm macro sounds very nice. please impress us samsung!

but plz note that if the size of any lens is small so obviously its focal length is also small and small focal length len is not capable to produce good snaps

Samsung hasn't learned yet, they always want it smaller, but their quality is not good when it comes to camera's. They should learn from Nokia and SE when it comes to camera quality

Antony Lunness was first to post!!!

this is awesome cant wait to see the first phone with it.

Although the G600 is supposed to be 5 megapixels and some 3.2 phones are better than that camera so i may not be that good.

hope sony ericsson or nokia take note and get this out soon as it will be amazing.

great innovation.. but, do we really need that much resolution for capturing? i mean, i use 3 mega pixel and it's totally enough for every day picture.. better to improve the clarity of the pixel too! that would be lovely from samsung :D

Seeing is believing, this sounds like bull. Well maybe not... but it will record at 15fps, which will b rubbish.
