Apple have to give 3 devices in 2012 to stay in the competition:
1) Iphone5 with 4.8inch screen
2) Mini iPad or so called Big Iphone 7inches with voice call capabilities.
3) And iPad 10.1

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-08-06 13:09 from q8Q8 - click to readThere are Android articles to the top and bottom of this one. How many Apple/WP7/BB fanboy posts are in those? Even the one about HTC's abysmal sales doesn't have a bunch of fanboys bashing it like a Nokia earnings article would. Most Android articles can barely break 50 comments. Add Windows/Nokia or Apple, even Firefox, and it easilly breaks 100. It's pretty obvious unless you're absolutely biased.

BS!
There are Ericsson Concept phones from the late 90s. that was all touch screens.
Quite syre that also Motorola and Nokia had similar design studies and functional prototypes of "smartphones".

Samsung was also a big player of mobiles, before Apple's ventures in the smartphone market.

If Apple was to make cars they would "invent the four wheeled car" then sue every car manufacturer that dares to make a 4 wheeled car.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-08-06 12:49 from q8Q8 - click to readYou've got to be kidding or, judging from your comment history, biased. There's a reason all the non-Android articles have such a high comment count. A year or two ago there might have been more Apple trolls but today there are far more Android trolls. Especially on this site.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-08-06 12:37 from v0qJ - click to readThere is a difference between true fragmentation and what you people call fragmentation as to cover up something called choice. And sorry to say but not every I device gets the latest IOS when every I device is capable of running such a simple platform minus certain specific features. Also what do you call taking three phone releases and waiting a few months later for an OS update to finally include MMS into what is supposedly the smartest phone ever? That does not sound like immediate updates to me. Not to mention most updates in every IOS are age old features Apple is just finally allowing you to have. Also if you want to research there has been at least one IOS update that was nothing more than the changing of a couple lines of coding mainly to knock out a hack and they released it as a full new update with new features. Point is none of the companies are perfect but all isheep have this blind following claiming every apple gets updated, works flawlessly, is the first everything, and best everything

> In reply to Brock @ 2012-08-06 12:36 from LhQY - click to readWhat people do not realize is Android is at least any bit as simple a UI as IOS for it's basic features. For calling, texting, taking pictures, and using the internet they are at least equally simple. The Android will just give you more freedom and customization at a basic level. If you use it for more than that you would already know your way around heavier uses anyway.

It's funny you had to make such pitiful reply to that instead of just correcting the only off aspect. And the reason it is partially a story is because that story from their point of view would have you believe that they invented the idea of tablets.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-08-06 12:23 from jn}4 - click to readso what if android has the largest share when it is so fragmented? you see, iphones receive ios updates even the very old 3GS, and here comes windows phone 8 with a very strict hardware limitation in order for the phones to receive software update in the future. and look at android how fragmented it is, always hoping for xda. sigh.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-08-06 08:41 from mc6Y - click to readThe Apple fanboys seem to have an strong inferiority complex. They have to lash out at anything that threatens their phone os, which is pathetic. Samsung, Microsoft/ Nokia, and even Firefox articles are guaranteed to have a bunch of Apple fanboy attacks.
