when you are trying to beat the best in something it is very normal to compare your product with the best one in the market.whats so strange.also all the big screen bar phones look alike because they are just big screens?!

this battle has gone tooooo far. I dnt get it, why apple just can't get over it. after all GS3 looks nothing like i-phone so what are they after??? bannin the sales of Galaxy S!! well nobody is buying GS anymore. so stop spending all these millions on courts and start producing the i phone 5.

Its just compared a product to another and make first one better than second, not copied but inspired.

samsung has come up with some nice technology in their new S3 which are their propriety i would say but the problem lies with Android. because it widely available to OEMs, it has become popular worldwide but personally, i still dont like how it functions.
i consider myself to be phone literate but i find it messy trying to figure out the phones running on Android and its use.
one main feature why the iphone is popular because its ease of use.
i dont own an iphone, i never liked apple products until rcently nor i like android products. recently i gave in and bought an ipad for myself and for my wife because its simple to use and has quality apps.
it is literaly replacing my laptop now. it can do just about everything i need it to do.
the simplicity is a key fact about IOS products.
the S3 has loads of nice technologies (i tried it at my friends like calling a person you are smsing, light staying on while reading, swiping the screen for screen capture etc..) and a nice screen but i cant seem to convince myself to get it as once you start using it you immediately notice how cluttered everything is and completely disorganized. Android still cant create a proper system which is fairly easy to use. look at how nokia did it with such ease and smoothness with the N9 on an open system similar to Android.
even with the all available technology, the scrolling of the UI is not as smooth as ios or N9. it still looks choppy even after all the added power to it.
if Apple is succeeding with one thing in their trials against samsung, they are forcing samsung to move away from the apple experience and shift to provide what they are doing with the S3 which, IMO, is not user friendly unless you are a phone techy.

at the end of the day its a matter of taste.
it is interesting to see that the new S3 is selling for less than the I4S which has been out for a while. it could well be a tactic by Samsung to capture market share but the I4S is still keeping its price.

I hope someone brings up the F700. Samsung fanboys always fall for that photoshopped hoax.

It's called doing your homework. In these pictures I don't see any proof of Samsung blatantly copying something that Apple came up with. Samsung are just merely comparing what they had compared to the iPhone. Every single company who follows the industry does this, compares it's products to competitors products. Ofc, unless Apple has a patent for 'Increased fun factor by adding effects to even little parts'.
