But some time ago on GSMArena, they said that since with the success of the GSIII sales, they'll make the Note 2 look like a wider version of the GSIII.

I am a die-hard Apple fan. But I know I am missing out on the highly customizable environment of Android. But again, those on Android might be losing out on something that iOS offers. So at the end of the day, its individual preference as to on what you compromise. And no one can force anyone to buy a particular brand. So let’s respect each other and our choices. I come here to know about the latest in technology, not for these fan wars.
Please don't try to manipulate actual fans into a troll fight. I am sure we are all intelligent people who respect other manufacturers as well. It's about us at the end of the day. Be it Samsung or Apple. It's us who have to be happy with what we buy. If I am happy with my Apple, it doesn't mean I expect everyone else to be too. So relax and let’s keep the discussion to the subject and not get in the unproductive trolling.

Why do people follow a manufacturer like sheep? Don't care who they are, all manufacturers in all industries innevitably produce some lemons - even BMW and Mercedes have!

Sure, I have my favourite manufacturers, but I assess each product they produce on it's merits. If it best suits what I'm looking for vs the competition vs cost I might buy or hold off for something better.

I do not blindly follow the marketing rubbish they tell me or naively think each will only produce the best. It's my hard earned dollar so manufacturer's earn or lose levels of my respect per product by it's merit.

Having said that I think Apple is the most consistent, however I don't like iOS limitations (and iTunes) so I have mainly Samsung products.

On that note, if Note2 has bigger screen with same footprint or smaller, RGB screen, and some improved tech over SGS3 then sounds awesome.

Thats actually a GS3 in the above picture, there was no mention of the galaxy note2 having buttons or not so wind your neck in until it's showcased.

Apple sucks....
Apple doesn't have its own innovation...
They buy a totally invented company nd utilise it...
Actually it z a great thing nd idea.. I really appreciate mr. steve jobs for that...
For eg; they bought siri nd made it more powerful software....
Bt the drawback is that they copy nd buy everything they like nd make them patent...
They patend every single gusters in the phone.. Simple movements, shape etc...
Fools... They don't have the courage...
They know that if Samsung would use that they will definitely beat the apple....
I hate apple nd their aspects.... They r cruel...

A Galaxy Note successor with physical buttons, are you for real?! Those buttons hold me back from getting the origin Note and I hopped that the Note 2 would have onscreen buttons, which would make navigation with the S-Pen so much smother!

If the screen will be prone to burn in again, like all Samsung Amoleds, then this is a no go.
