One of the beauties of Apple's products for example, is the certain timelessness of their designs, which is why for example, the MacBook has remained similar for YEARS without a redesign. This is because Apple pours in a huge amount of R&D and into getting the design as good as possible in the first place.

This also increases consumer satisfaction, as the computer doesnt feel outdated as quickly as in the PC world, with new designs coming out every week. There is less panic in the Apple/Mac/iOS world, and people concentrate on actual 'doing' of things, and enjoying the experience, rather than having to constantly worry about what is right round the corner.

I also think its getting a little boring at this time, I reallyed hoped for a big change with iOS6 but it was crap tbh, a few new things that iOS should have had a long time ago and they call it a software update, while wp8 and Jelly bean are really pushing things forward.

I can personally see Apple falling behind in the mobile world.

Its now predicted that apple going to sell 250 million iPhone 5.

So far every other new iPhones has sold more than old models combined so if same going to happen again the numbers going to be something like 250 million. Im not surprised if thats happens

> In reply to what wow @ 2012-08-08 17:26 from 3RM{ - click to readYeah WP is growing. Although I am an Android fan, I would love WP to make Android struggle. WP has lots of potential. I am just glad iOS is decreasing. iOS is all hype. It is like the P90X of cellphones.

> In reply to iSJ5 @ 2012-08-08 16:35 from t7Xh - click to readRead the article carefully. iOS only has 16.9% in Q2 which is a decrease from Q1. Android has the most of the market. Although WP still has a very small percentage, it has the highest increase rate.

the only reason Android is going up is because of iOS' lack of some MEGA IMPROVEMENTS/CHANGES. e.g widgets etc

Windows mobile is doing really well in China and my opinion is nice Surface takes off there will be an even bigger halo effect on the smartphones. All we need then are lower end Windows mobile devices and Microsoft will bring the fight to Google.
