It already costs half the price of a SGS3, SGNote 2, next iPhone and even 40% less than an HOX. You could buy it new and it would still be cheaper than a refurbished or used "branded" flagship handset.

Nice Job. The specs may be amazing....but realisticly how many of us will actually be buying it outside of China even its available, when you place it next to a recognised leader handsets like SGS3 or OneX or Note2 or Iphone5. Another big Negative is that the re-sale price of this set will drop to 50% the minute you walk out of the retailer with a new set.

By the time they design a high-end device, technology evolves rapidly and could not incorporate latest discoveries in their high-end products. Secondly, it's easy for a company that sells a single model (like Xiaomi) to make that model a very high-end device, they don't have to worry about market share, they don't have customer behaviors and needs that translates into a myriad of products "made" for everybody.

From now on china will be the market leader. Top high end specs will come out there 1st. Very huge market there, 1.5 billion people with growing economy. Manufactures can sell same amount of handsets in just one country compared to other continents and the promotional cost is much cheaper. China will rule.

Don't ask "when will it be launch in my country". Cause Xiaomi isn't a global company yet like let say Samsung. You're all gonna get it on imports like on-line shops.
