But in the Xiaomi article it even says that global availability will be unlikely there. So if consumers aren't even given a choice then the only one that's available (Huawei) will win.

i have owned 2 huawei. big trash. the 2nd was huawei vision,i thought it may be good. i was so wrong. huawei never again

People think Krait is the best but this proves how Krait is a laggy chip as usual only optimized to fool benchmarks tests

A benchmark at http://www.gottabemobile.com rates the Huawei k3v2 chip very comparable to the snapdragon s4 krait.

The speed of the Huawei chip is not tested yet. Who knows how well it will fare against the snapdragon s4 quad core krait? If it is anything close, then it will be flying off the shelves.

According to Apple, Iphone 5 will be announced in September and God knows when exactly it will be delivered. Xiami 2nd Genereation phone will be available also to be pre-ordered at Septmeber and be delivered on October. So Xiaomi new phone is no way distant nor illusional... but most affordable and powerful android phone soon-to-be made available in the market! I guess maybe you're just jealous that you can't get it, not earlier than I will that is! hahahaha

And many top electronics are made in China even if it's a UK US or Japanese company. Yes it's cheaper labour less expense but the quality is the same. You should think before making pointless useless comments. I have owned the Huawei Acsend G300 £100 phone on Vodafone and the specs and build quality for the price was incredible. And it was reliable. The gorilla glass on it was the toughest I ever encountered. So mate you talk crap.

they put this out because xiaomi inc announced the over power Mi-2 device

the Mi-2 is a distant illusion at this stage, it will launch on market after iphone 5

way toooooo late. it's a shame, becouse these are exellent phones (better then the S3 and of course the Iphone), but huawei missed the time interval they had. now, when the galaxy s 3 is 2 months out there, their potential clients has gone.
