I wouldnt compare Xperia P with GS3(though i use Xperia P myself). this is an illogical comparison. GS3 scored above 15 thousand in Antutu benchmark.Where as Xperia P only scored above 5,500.The mali-400 GPU used in Xperia P is weak. It cant even match the scores of GS2 let alone GS3.The dual core processor used in Xperia P is also no match for all other dual core processors. But still if you are looking for a decent android device with moderate price then Xperia P is a good choice.

Not like IOS or Windows phone.
All android are lag UI. Except Jelly bean! go compare it NExus 4.0 and 4.1 side by side. it's just as smooth as windows phone!

Xperia p really a good product and low price taq. What make xperia p lower then galaxy s3 just the processor only. But the camera mp still the same 8mp,used same mali400 GPU, both offer hd screen 720p ( s3 offer bigger size screen ) and both offer 1gb of ram. I dont see xperia p as outdated product just because no jelly bean promise by sony at this moment. So dont felt like you holding an outdated device. ;-)

I'd like to see if the camera lost the macro mode, just like what happened with the 2011 Xperias when they went from 2.3 to 4.0.

For now only it only was released for Nexus line wich is normal because is a google device a receives it pure without any modification by the manufacterer. The other one for SIII is beta not official yet and they only to warry with one top device. I don't see SONY releasing jelly bean for ray at least in the near future.

Most other manufacture just release statement and beta os for jelly bean. Not official for the public use till now.
