Plus, Xperia S has 12.1 mp camera and higher ppi (smoother graphic) than S2. S2 won the popularity thou, and slot for SD but internal memory of Xperia S is more than enough for almost anyone.

Haven't you heard?
No manufactuer is innocent in releasing XYZ models of their flagships.
I guess you never heard of Scamsung's:
- SGS Plus
- SGS Advance
- Galaxy SL
- multiple US variants
- SGS3 64GB variant
Sensation XL
and so on...
Now, are you sure you want that sweet sweet SGS3? :P

S2 beat xperia s interm of power? ya ya ya right.. even its come with ics bugs alive.. lol.. before trying to teach others.. do talk to a mirror as your starting point. Xperia s gets compliment from a very popular android google guru and for that being choosen as vanila os next project device.. I wonder where s2 will be? Yup.. with jelly bean with totally turtle speed inside it.

Block or brick like design is really not so good in the eyes; but SONY is so great that they were able to make a very good design for a brick-shaped phone. It is called maximizing the resources - talent.

S3 offers 6 hours more battery life than any other phone with quad core inside......

And 1.2 ghz s2 outperformed xperia s in processing power.....

Just have facts before commenting blindly........

Disagree bro... I keep given Sony phones a go and honestly am let down pretty much every time.. bought and sold the xperia s... don't get me wrong it's a great phone but too many niggeling annoyances... slightly laggy... was hoping for a better camera.. the touch buttons are a pain and the screen gets seriously washed out looking at it from angles...
Plus still no ics... if Sony tries to rectify some of these issues with the SL I will seriously consider buying it but kinda doubt they will have

Samsung is a desperate company that wants to dominate by any means necessary. Many say sony has too many xperia phones but I think u should have a look at the massive number of smart phones in sammy's shelf. All these are signs of insecurity and lack of self assurance to face competition on level ground. Unfortunately or rather fortunate for samsung, a lot of people are driven by hunger for power without a clue of what they actually need and purpose. There's no phone in the market that samsumg has no reply for as of today. Come with single core, next week they pump out dual core to subdue and automatically cripple your phone sales, come with dual core which is not yet utilized to max, they come out with 4cores. True innovation comes with maxing out available resources not more power without proper optimization. More cores may be the real deal for many but its still a clear sign of weakness on the side of samsung. Personally,i cannot buy a product that isn't class leading in software, optimization and designs ( UI included). Not to mention sony phones have playstion support which has the largest and best games in business. Well I don't know about u but innovation is by no means power but what you make of the things you have at a point. Any phone that isn't sony and iphone can never cross my list for now because those two are simply the best there is and is to come.
