Leaked iPhone 5 parts fit nicely into supposed frame - read the full textiResQ, an Apple gadgets repairing company, decided to try and assemble a dock connector and headphone jack cable into a supposed, early-build, next-gen iPhone frame. The two fitted perfectly meaning that the leaked parts could in fact be part of the iPhone 5. iPhone 5 parts Compared with...

Here in Europe Apple will have to ship a USB adaptor to confirm new USB charging standard..

People are saying about a Sept 12th launch but until Apple say anything its all vapourware ,even all these new iPhone leaks.

I wish GSMARENA would just stop referring to it as iPhone5. They know very well that its gonna be the 6th iPhone. Maybe people on the street are calling it iPhone5 right now, but GSMA are meant to be the ones "in the know," and should really know better! I wonder if they will actually change the port on current iPhone4s and iPad after the launch. Because its likely that iPhone 4s will remain in production even after the new iPhone is launched. Surely then, they have to update it. Can they really be happy producing two different ports at the same time? That's kinda sloppy - very un-Apple like.

This may be a leak, whether legit or not... but 3.5mm jack on the bottom?! and a different port (which renders all my accessories with ipod docks useless)?! I'm jumping ship. I've had it with apple and all their BS. Their laptops are fine, but iOS device "successors" are just sad sometimes. Why can't their mobile department take notes from their computer department? They've been continuously been very disappointing. :'( RIP Steve Jobs and RIP Apple (particularly mobile devices--still love their laptops)

> In reply to lol what? @ 2012-08-21 12:21 from fJCp - click to readWell... ok, a 3.5mm jack ain't big news. But if anyone thinks that Samsung's "S Beam" was innovative, think again, SHARP and other Jap tecs had that one sorted 5 years ago.

5 years ago, a 3.5mm jack didn't exist on many handsets :P
