Is a good idea but Samsung and some companies introduced this innovation some time back. But an improvement from LG is well accepted. Pls check form here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PLwR2ht2BQ

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 already has this feature and has hundred of compatable devices. I have been able to control pretty much everything in my house even th cheap brand tv gathering dust in th guest room. This was a great unxpected surprise when I got home and opened my Note as it was the last thing I expected.

mmm... looking at the screenshots it seems this is a 4:3 screen format phone. Not the best option (at least for me).

Others should implement this too.
The idea is great, but I don't want to buy something from LG

Actually, I miss this feature in today's smartphones. It was cool with windows and palm based PDAs before then.

Try harder LG. IR is not a big enough improvement to consider this awkward gadget.
