I was speaking to a friend in Vodafone UK marketing a few weeks ago as i was asking about the Razr HD and was told they knew nothing about it although they were working on the "Razr i" which at the time i though might have been a code name they were working on for the HD but after seeing this it makes more sense. I was also told that they were expecting the phone to be in stores in October

I want an Intel processor in a windows8 phone; it'll be more legacy program compatible than the RT slates! Add Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, and mini hdmi or mhl..bam! Pocket laptop or full functional pc with some attachments.

I don't like Intel processors in android smartphones. Neither in android tablets. For me in Android only Arm processors. The Arm Cortex A15 it's powerful enough to beat the mobile Intel processors. And from here to 2 years it will go to come out the Armv8 technology which it's from 64bit with power close to Core i7.

Welcome to android fragmentation world where one single OS is fragmented by 6 different CPU architectures and dozens other screen resolutions.
We have seen the effect first on Max Payne where the game is limited to several type of model. Then there's this Tegrazone with Tegra-Only games. This is the dark side of the moon or open source world sort of speaking.
All those hundreds of thousands of apps are going to be rendered useless in the coming years.

This can definitely be something to compete with the monstrous Krait cores lol If they are as powerful as everyone says they are, then this phone with a dual core will be quite the powerhouse. This should have been the mind behind the Atrix HD with the Razr MAXX's battery. I'm really hoping the Moto doesn't under copy Apple by just making an OK phone and relying on its "big name" ie Intel inside to get sales up
If you're gonna make a phone with that kinda power the least you can do is make sure you push that power beyond what other cores can do

Hello Moto! It seems like we're having a Medfield international handset soon. Dual core with hyper threading would hit the sweet spot.

The i5 is a PC CPU, it would drain the battery in less than an hour.
Quad core? Very unlikely. The single core Intel CPU had close, and in some areas better, performance to the best Android dual cores.
I don't think it'll have more than 2 cores. IF it will be a multi core cpu.
