I think that nokia has absolutely lost it over the last few years. Not only is every phone they release (especially the 8800 arte) including the n95 - looks like its been bashed with an ugly stick.

I am a dedicated nokia fan (i still have my 8850!!) for well over 10 years, and i love their products, but until they fire their designers and actually make a nice looking phone, I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NOKIA AGAIN!

And yes, the Arte has to be THE UGLIEST PHONE EVER CREATED - ill laugh and point at anyone who forked out the ripoff price for this hideous accessory.

Shame on you Nokia - What on earth were you thinking?

I think Nokia has to go back to what made it a brand, FUNCTUALLITY & Quallity. Since 6310i the only models that are a refernce are 6620, 8800, 6300, N73, N75, N76, N95, 5310...
Why don´t they really desing phones for groups of consummers?
I believe kids needs games & Camera phones, teens, MP3/Mp4 player phones, middle age (my case) more functional phones that allow us to open/edit documents, conect via WiFi and use 3G for video streaming...
Is just a point of view. In oder lines, when will Nokia give us a touch screen phone? Hello? A1200 is avialable since 2006!!!
And quality of materials, thats another subject really, i remeber the last middle range Nokia phone I purshize (6131) awfull battery life, quality materails, raw plastics... a deception
I´m looking fwr to bay my next Nokia, a candy bar with LONG Battery life, WiFi and 3G capabilities.... any suggestion?

All Prisms look same to me..
About 5000, the built is same as 6300 even the thickness
I just don't like 2680 kinda navi-pads.. they are so uncomfortable and now boring to see in every other Nokia phone

i totally agree nokia has some great phones but they all lack good design.
just compare n82 to se k850.n82 is well.... cheap looking opposed to the sleek black monolithic k850

The 5000 looks nice but the 2680 reminds me of the d500 from samsung.

Finally, Nokia is coming up with very nice designs. But I hope they implement the designs on their higher end phones.
