there's no need to reboot the phone. first, get the number you want to call on your phone screen, then just tap the sim selection button lightly and you'll see the highlghted signal strength icon at the top of the screen change from one line to the other. the highlighted one is the line you will be calling from. it's the same for sending sms. however, if you press the sim selection button while the screen is showing the "desktop" menu, you will get the sim management menu, which you don't need. so just remember to tap a button on the keypad before you press the sim key. good luck.

i have a problem with dual when they r both on one cannot send or receive sms why is that so it keeps on writing sms iniatialising so i have 2remove in order 2sms am in kenya _africa

From the phone menu, select "My Files" (or any other application capable of browsing the phone files), then by default you are present the phone's memory content. To switch to the Memory Card, use the # or * key. These will toggle between the phone and SD memory.

good one, but enhancement required and drawbacks.
1, A playlist contains max 30 songs.
2, unable to explore the SD mem card. mp3 can add the songs from memory card if specified in particular folder.

This phone is very good. However, I have one problem with it. The auto keypad lock does not provide one with the option about after how long the phone should be locked. It appears to have a preset locking time window which, worse still, is too short. I would really appreciate if anyone would help me navigate the procedure for setting that period in case it is there and I've missed it.

i am using samsung D780. in UK, for last one month, its perfect equipment, But the length of the phone is little bit Extra, and batry dosent last long. I have to charge it every day. otherwise its perfect phone. its prestige.
