Also the speed is lower for EE because they don't invest in backhaul, unlike Three, who can currently match those speeds via HSPA+, I'd expect 50Mbps LTE to be a reality.

8-12 Mbps 4G??? Damn you are soooooo last century...
Carriers in Bulgaria deliver 3.5G at up to 40Mbps and 3G overall has covered around 99% of the population.
Not to mention that 100Mbps home Internet is becoming a standard in Sofia.

Do you call this "news"?!
In PORTUGAL, LTE has been available for the public since March from all the 3 major carriers (and for tests for more than a year!!!)
It currently covers 80% of the population and by the end of the year its expected to be available for 90% of the population.
Prices around 50~60€
furthermore, we have 1,6Million homes with fiber optics currently, and growing...

According to International Telecommunication Union(ITU), 4G is considered if the peak download speed is 100mbps in moving train, cars etc. They are actually 3.9G or pre-4G using mobile WiMax technology or simply called it long range WiFi.

Until the coverage matches 3G it's not really worth it.
With Three UK for £15 p/m on PAYG, I get 8Mbps down 3Mbps up, 1000GB usage and 70ms ping....

Apple have sued almost everybody, this is what you get for not playing nice
Remember what was APPLE said after they won
"Apple say they value originality and innovation.."
The problem I see is do they APPLE months into a case release the iPhone5 (LTE?)
As I understand it after Samsung said they would sue re LTE, APPLE then added another 28 devices that included the SGS 3

This appears like a big time attempt to defraud consumers/subscribers. Go to the info source, you will realize the 4G being talked about is capped at 8-12Mbps, and with lots of caveats. That is no 4G by any standard anywhere else where 4G is operational. DO NOT BE FOOLED. THINK TWICE BEFORE COMMITTING YOUR MONEY. It's another crap like experience of internet access via dongle. Its complete rubbish.

> In reply to APPLE @ 2012-09-11 12:48 from IaHg - click to readSamsung will definetly sue Apple if they bring standard LTE compatible iphone. Samsung have the largest 4G LTE patent.
Apple is using license of Qualcom's 4G patent in ipad 3. So it is not compatible with standard 4G spectrum. In US only AT&T and Verizon supports ipad. For this Apple had done agreement with this carriers.
These are the cause for not having LTE in iphone 4S. For iphone 5 it will have the same way of LTE as ipad 3 have.
