The features in this phone is just what I wanted but the design is ugly. If they don't change it then I'll never buy it. And by 2009, there will be better phones that will be released as well.

OK, from what it appears, it offers nothing new to the overcrowded iPhone clone market. The stylus was outdated almost 10 years ago. Samsung's F480 offers the same exact things, more or less. No creative new design. No revolutionary features. Just another iPhone clone that's a N95 with touch features.

@Dani
" Nokia Accomplishments?"

Please learn to Google before typing that BS. Nokia's accomplishments list is a mile long, but here is few:

-first PCM system (whole basis of digital voice transfer)
-first NMT network and NMT phone
-first digital exchange
-first ISDN exchange deliveries
-first GSM phone and GSM network deliveries
-SMS
-first satelite phone call
-9000 communicator with voice, data, fax, calendar, email, internet, etc. (1996) That's freaking 12 years ago! (and it could copy & paste too)
-first TETRA deliveries
-first AMPS/TDMA phone
-first HSCSD network
-first GPRS network
-first MMS capable phone
-SyncML
-first EDGE-WCDMA 3G data transfer
-first CDMA2000 data transfer
-first 3G WCDMA call in a commercial 3PPP system
-first NFC device
list goes on and on...

Nokia built the whole mobile infrastructure that other phones are build on. Starting from 60's. I bet you didn't even know that Nokia makes all possible network elements too and not only phones. Without Nokia iPhone would be just iTouch.

What are Apple's accomplishments?

-first fashion phone for people, that care more about the looks of the phone than actual things that it can do.
-first world wide hype campaign to sell mobile device based on lies like "full internet" and "five years ahead".

... its this simple, the iphone's touch screen uses multiple fingers at once, nokia needs a stylus. id rather have WM6.1 its that simple. yet another reason why the iphone is revolutionary!!

I have to tell, if Nokia plan this phone really really carefull they can beat to death the iPhone, the simple fact that you can install your own applications on the phone will take the iPhone out of business right away, a good digital camera, good storage capacity a clear screen and that's it, iPhone lovers will stay with the iPhone because probably they're Mac users, but not because it's a superior phone...Come on Nokia you can do it!

Why the hell is any phone equipped with a touch screen a copy of the freakin' iPhone?

If anyone remembers the LG Prada came out months before the iPhone. The iPhone was a worthless POS before 3rd party apps were available, & even now it is nothing special.

Apple fans have got to be the most myopic geeks in history.

Really? you think Honda is the largest car producer in the world. fyi its Toyota and Nokia is exactly like Toyota. Sony Ericsson is a class act similar to a world class car maker targeting an exclusive group of people just like a Mercedes, Beamer, or Jaguar would do. If you are oblivious, let me inform you that the largest manufacturers of automobiles are not the best car makers.. are they? Well, I have nothing else to say.. Bottomline: Nokia lovers really dont know what they are missing. I feel so sorry for them.

i think nokia has come up with drop-dead feature rich smartphones, but they just suck on deciding when to release the phone. this phone is awesome, even though it has a really stupid name. i really hope symbian would create new programs or probably a totally new interface so people wont miss the convenience of windows-mobile in a full touch device. but symbian really does gives you easy usage. i still think this phone fails, even though im a total nokia fan. the plastic body, and the (probably) plastic screen needs to be replaced with classier material, and the screen simply needs multi-touch interface with finger typing, not to mention 3d effects. apple's iphone excels ahead of the tube in all these, but they simply suck in features and personalization. i just hope nokia would fix this in their flagship model coming shortly afterwards the tube.
