if you don't want the new iphone then why bother going here and posting your "hey-im-a-cellphone-expert-so-my-opinion-matters" non sense comments here.. go play with your androids that lags and hangs from time to time and deal with it.. lets face it.. by the end of the day you'll still wait for your contract to be over and get the new iphone either because your galaxy s3 is damn boring and the rest of the world is on the iphone.. android is for losers thats the truth

Seems to me that Apple has focused theyr attention into making a better PHONE to start with. People seem to forget that this still is a phone. New connector=like lte=like on the other hand i am afraid it's going to be much too tall ,but until i get my hands on it and use it for 2 days i remain objective. I'm not necessarily a apple fan , but the phones have the most stable software. Dont get me wrong , i love Samsung , wouldnt buy a tv unless it's a samsung bu in phone category they suck.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-09-13 09:19 from waVN - click to readI agree to your point, but this holds true for most comments we see for Samsung, HTC, Nokia etc. I am sure there would be very few people who would have used a S3, One X etc but still comment about them.

Steve Jobs is gone and so is Apple; its only a matter of time before it happens...

Iphone (once a revolutionary/creative) became more of a trend and its time is over... Sorry iPhone fans but why would I pay for an iPhone 5 if its only a bigger iPhone 4S?

I truely feel sad for Apple once leaders in creative industry and now they are only followers!

Am not trolling, I dont hate Apple iPhone (I used one myself for a while) I am just stating facts!

Lets see what we have got here!! To start with, i5 has come up with some upgrades over i4 (bigger screen, sleeker body, faster processor, new OS). However the results have been termed as "Disappointing" by mostly those who have never ever in there life used an apple product!!

Sure the hype was built way back, but one should first use the product and then start complaining!! As for me, things are different as i am an ardent apple fan, though not that much loaded to shell on any phone costing more than 20K INR. I am using an 3gs 16 GB variant and am still able to do almost everything which any other phone does (yes i have installed apps for bluetooth, usb, radio etc).

As far as Samsung is concerned, I would rate S2 better than S3 any day in terms of value for money. However, one should never forget that the entire brand of Apple is built on the base of its r&d for which the company charges a premium.

quoted from gsma ..

"On the negative side, the iPhone 5 screen is only 4 inches big, and not only this, but only height was added, which, for instance, would bring no real benefit in most games and would help web browsing only in landscape mode. The camera is mostly the same as on the 4S, and LTE connectivity in Europe is still as scarce as water in the Sahara to be really worth it. Finally, the new sleeker connectivity jack renders all previous docking accessories obsolete.

Honestly, I’m already tired of hearing Apple’s stale remarks how the new iPhone or the new iPod was Apple’s best thing so far. What I wanted to see today on stage was pure innovation, something that would again open new doors and make other manufacturers lose their breath in trying to catch up.

Instead, what I got was a predictable phone with unexciting specs; a phone that I would hardly call cutting edge, top-of-the-line, and all those labels that usually go hand in hand with Apple’s latest. After all, the iPhone has always been the most expensive SIM-free smartphone on the market. "
