First, the rumour said the S3 update would roll out on August 29th.
After IFA, SAMSUNG could only say the update will be coming very soon, so we ( the users of S3) hoped this would be this month ( Probably this week).
But again, they said that the update would only be in October.
THIS IS TOTALLY NONSENSE......since we all can see that the leaked update (especially the XXDLI5) is very stable and believe that SAMSUNG already got a complete Jelly Bean which they could release even in this week.
SAMSUNG are always such a loser when it comes to UPDATING firmware.....

Funny to see some of the older ones still getting upgrades to a more recent release of Gingerbread! Lol. Still... Looking forward to an official release of Jelly Bean for my Galaxy 2. AOSP roms are only so good.

I'm looking forward to Jelly Bean. It has to be the Windows 7 to ICS's Vista. I hope RAM consumption is lower because the latest ICS used a lot of the SGS2s resources.
Until then NeatRom Lite is my Rom of choice

So if this is the real schedule this means that Samsung Galaxy S Advance will get after all the ICS update. So in theory this article : http://www.gsmarena.com/samsun...ews-4786.php is less accurate that this information. Bear in mind people that a "jump" over ICS is still possible with a few phones. Remember that all of the smartphones "jumped" over an entire update(Honey Comb) straight to ICS.

SAMSUNG only gives the latest update to their top range smartphones, are the people beggers who buy the phones below s2.SAMSUNG must satisfy every customer not only the highest smartphone buyers, please give ICS for phones having 800mhz,other company gives so,for example HTC-SONY-MICROMAX-ETC....
PLEASE GIVE ICE CREAM SANDWICH FOR MID RANGE PHONES!
