Samsung did not copy the Iphone first. Second Apple copied the design themselves in the first place.

Now in reality if Apple was a good company and make their own ideas, thoughts, and inventions as well as not be a greedy monopolistic company jealous of others like Samsung and had not sued them unjustly with illegal actions then This would not have happened.

What would IOS be used on without companies like Samsung? Also LG, Nokia, Sony, and so forth? And where would they get the patents, ideas, and technology to steel and copy the features and designs for Iphone and IOS without the others?

It's soft, malleable, corrodes easily leaving a powdery white oxide when oxidized. It's the reason why iphones get scratches and dents out of the box. Eeewww!

First of all, i would like to said suing is mean for gaining what you really owned NOT what you THINK you own. This kind of dirty tactic should not occur if you are doing it wrongly. So by all mean, do you think Apple will lose their battles in what theirs said "Justice Court" in California. Beside, corruption are involved and nonetheless country advantage. There is no such thing as killing your own kind my friend :D

Apple is credited for being an innovator, when in fact the company is a follower. Apple didn't invent the personal computer, laptop, MP3 player, software media player, app store, music store, smartphone or tablet. Apple partly, or quite openly and shockingly, reinvented these categories. But the company was by no means first, even though there is much revisionist history asserting otherwise. Now apple claims it owns the sole rights to just about everything to do with the industry in order to coerce Americans and anyone else in the world to buy ONLY Apple – most people rushing to by iphone5 or apple-anything cant afford them and rely on credit. Again buy crap you don’t need with money you don’t have. (Remember Lehman Brothers - a company with a 158-year history, including 14 years as an NYSE-listed giant, failed simply because of greed. It took on too much risk in a booming market. "Apple is itself a consummate imitator". Apple has always practiced IMOVATION - that is imitative innovation. The lesson here is that any firm, no matter how big and powerful, can be dashed to pieces on the rocks of leverage.

And plastic is the best material! It's lightweight, very flexible to design, good plastic is scratch resistant - even bulletproof vests and modern handguns are (thermo)plastic. When scratched, the material can be colored so as not to show. It can also be quite classy. The most expensive cars use plastic bodies (yup, carbon fiber reinforced polymers). Aluminum is cheap (the most abundant metal on the earth's crust) used for soda cans and reynold's wrap. And glass--well, that's just processed SAND. Nothing fancy about these two.

Android is so flexible. E.g. Swipe keyboarding is the best! It's so easy and saves so much time. Widgets too--no more fiddling with my Settings. Just click on the widget right on the desktop to toggle features, just look at the screen to see calendar updates, etc. And no need to use proprietary software (iTunes), just plug your android phone and drag/drop music, pictures, files, etc. into the android "drive". Add more memory with SD Card. Listen to the latest music and news on FM radio. More functionalities can be had with replacement launchers! Control calls/messages that you receive, schedule message sending. Google maps... well, it just works! :)

It seems apple retired their engineers and just hired more lawyers. Before, they used to not mind patents since they are always ahead before they can be copied. Now, they're late and need to resort to legal circus acts. :)

Samsung offers an android phone for every person--those who want the best to those who want limited functionality and affordability. Android itself is so customizable (widgets, third party launchers and a variety of keyboards, etc. etc.). Apple, on the other hand, only caters to those who can spend $$$$$$$$$$ (lots of it). Not only that, it forces owners to use the phone only the way Apple likes you to. Customizable? Well if you count wallpapers! :)

A hearing for a case against a California based company vs a non US company to be held in California. I think its safe to say the odds are not in samsung's favor
