And they are forced to issue an embarrassing apology for the mess they created with their maps on the Iphone 5? Apple did infringe on Samsung's patents, that is why Samsung is suing. And it has been long time since we've seen innovation from Apple. Tell me what difference can you find in the 4, 4s and 5, 2 years later and that's all Apple can come up with.

They strive to innovate without the temptation of infringement. Samsung uses other brands for their products like Android. While Apple on the other hand is innovating on their own technology.

Processor)and Iphone 5 comes out not on top. still issues with maps(that is probably hits hard on apple) and certain bug issues on ios6... and still Iphone 4s has its certain advantages besides larger screen and clarity of screen and camera features...

> In reply to Ramin @ 2012-10-02 19:30 from 0U$Z - click to readThe LG Prada only beat the first iPhone into the shops by a few months,so nowhere near the two years or so it takes to make a new product and get it into the shops. The new technology was available to everyone at the same time, back in those days no one actually copied anyone else but they certainly didn't patent something in their own name and claim they invented it.

This is more of a case where Sammys PR got slapped in the face with a subjective jury, and what do rich kids do when there's negative gossip? Throw money.

FYI, they acted on this faster than Apple trying to add the S3 to the injunction. They waited till they "won" which was over 60 days from the launch of the S3. Apple wishes they could sell the same amount of devices as Samsung does for Boost Mobile domestically.
