If Windows 8 run on a Galaxy S3, it sure sell well as fanboys will buy anything that has a Galaxy logo on it.

I think everything depends upon the choice and nature of user. The person sitting next to me in office is Android lover and does not like iOS or WP. Why? because the only job he has to do is to enter the incoming stock which happens twice or thrice a day. So, the rest time he spends upon his galaxy note, playing, watching, customizing.
While on the other hand, I don't have much time in day and even not interested in customization. For me, more important is syncing and integration. So Android doesn't attract me. However, I do like to have the photo of my cute little kid on home screen, so iOS is not a choice too. A big tile will do the purpose.
So, instead of fighting and throwing abuses, we should understand that everybody has own needs.

Dont waste your time by replying to windows fan who is all the time trolling and liying on android articles and he is a certified ignorant troll/spammer. he cant accept the fact that windows phone is still no match for android jellybean! he doesnt have an idea about jelly bean . he is talking about custom roms!lol! very very newly jellybean is available officially! if you hate it simply do not use it but stay with your limited wp! by the way i know you are on s40 and you are waiting for your wp as a congrats from elop!!

Even without using or experiencing it people complain about lags in Android. You should use it to know it people. WP8 is definitely amazing. Remember Google, i.e., Motorola Mobility had job cuts like Nokia had some time back. Nokia’s job cuts and Symbian could be blamed for that but Motorola mobility job cuts, not to blame the os android. iOS is smooth? Definitely, it has to be when it has actually got nothing in it to call it a real smartphone. Android offers freedom and more and more people choose android because of the customization it presents. iOS 6 now has features that android or even Symbian had long time back, those feature phones from Symbian never lagged because of the non-dramatic features the phone had to handle. Similarly with iOS, it has nothing great sort of, so it quite obvious it won’t lag. Talking about WP8, it’s definitely going to be worth looking for, especially Windows Surface tablets! But it’ll take time before it can become an Android killer. We should talk keeping the fanboyism out-of-the-way while comparing OS. Let’s talk on the latest and the greatest without being a fan of any one OS or any one mobile phone maker. So what’s best will remain best for couple of years and it’ll take time for others to come up with such thing. Experience a jelly bean to know what an Android can do! Moreover, though I’m using android, I’ll be looking to get a surface tablet because that’s going to be a true to computing experience. People here who says Windows are trying to copy iPad’s with Surface tablets, you should know that Windows, i.e., Microsoft made the tablet long back before iPad came into picture. Talk with fact people. Do some research or spend some money in your R&D team before complaining.
