If this thing release as phone will basically be a true camera killer, a big zoom that you find $300+ camera and xenon flash.

This is ac2ly a superb new device 4m Uncle Sam n although this ain't the 1st Android powered cam, Samsung have taken it to a different level with superb specs! I see this Phamera hybrid as a landmark device which might pave d way 4 d future of the stagnant point n shoot cam market! It also is a bold step fwd. 4 the diversification n integration of Android as an OS into daily use gadgets other than phones n tabs! Samsung deserves kudos for makin this 1 of d most innovative products of 2012. I'm definitely gettn this!

At full zoom the image quality will be horrible... Losless zoom is actually better cause the aperture size remains the same at full zoom too...

I am so fed up of reading 'carrier' or 'contract' in United States. Don't they want any freedom. Here i can start/stop using any network provider as long or short as i desire.

so the choice is:
zoom lense or pocketability...
(pureview vs samsung)
the OS is just that, an OS. In the end, you'll be able to live with whatever faults it has. The thing that will keep hampering you is if its a brick or not.
