> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-06 21:51 from v0Xt - click to readOh yes, one of you just had to defend your brand again. Of course you don't get what exactly Samsung has done here! It's not multi-tasking only, it does split-screen with those multi-tasking! Of course you can't imagine it, since your hardware upgrade is only to a 4" screen and cannot be directly connected to an HDMI screen (wirelessly), connect a Bluetooth mouse & keyboard to make your "phone" an almost PC function. NO, you can't with just an app. No, there's nothing like that with your store, and we won't expect your preferred brand to have a developer mess around with the OS in achieving a split-screen function on your puny 4"screen! It'll be another 2 years again when they would introduce something like that!

No matter what, Samsung is leading in innovations no matter what you say. Things gets better and better.

This is great and I'll be getting the Note 2.

This feature was done on the Prototype MeeGo devices 2 years ago. Good job somebody finally brought the mobile version to the consumer.

Ps if there was an app I assume it would come with free magnifying glasses given iphone small screen.....

My favourite brand is Nokia, never preferred Samsung, I'd only say that '' the cheap plastic junk'' seems to be miraculous in reality:)

> In reply to me @ 2012-10-06 22:56 from 05Jh - click to readYou don't have 2 computer screens....?? You obviously don't use computers to do work such as accounting engineering graphic design etc

A few examples with split screen.
1. Streaming a sports match and I want to write an email or message.
2. Paying a bill and I want an invoice open to copy amount details numbers etc
3. Filling in a finance app and need my bank account open.
4. Have GPS running and need to write a message.
5. having music open while I do something else so i can quickly select another song
6. Cruising the net or writing a message while am watching live share prices
7. Watching a video while on msn

To anyone who says a split screen is too small.... The area of the note 2 screen is double ther area of the iphone 5......

looks cool but doesn't seem useful to me since a person can only concentrate at one thing. I mean who does this on his pc? I always put every single program in full screen, all you need is a fast way to switch between apps

And the funny thing some people compare this beast with the brick "920".
Nokia if you have any shame go some where far away and die already!
