Judging by your understanding skills, maybe its you who should be ignored.

"how can plastic to have an excellent build than aluminum alloy like in iPhone 5?"
- You're going it the wrong way,
- How can cheap aluminium metal body ip 4XL/5 to remain un-dent after a drop?

"iOS in ip 4XL/5 has the buttery smooth UI that even JB cant come close"
- It's sick to know smooth was the only thing that fruit brand fans asking. Seriously nothing elase? It's pathetic.

"are you comparing a big battery with a medium battery like in iPhone 4XL/5? But this is not an issue, you can always get yourself an external battery.
- Samsung fans does not like to carry a battery dongle. It just make your phone uglier

"RETINA display in iPhone 5 has a higher resolution than super Amoled"
- The last time the whole world check with the dead & gone Steve Jobs, view from a further distance lower ppi still Retina screen.
- So Galaxy Note 2 with 267 ppi are RETINA display.

"In addition, the SGNote2 with the unreasonably big body makes you look like a fool when you make phone calls"
- Wrong, a smaller screen like ip 4XL make you more like a fool when using it for Video playback, Games play, Photo & Internet Browsing or even drawing with a thick conductive pen?

"You dont feel proud or confident when holding SGNote2 especially in STARBUCK."
- Wrong again, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 make you a PROUD owner than a thinny ip 4XL/5 in everywhere in the world, including a ball.
- Carrying a ip 4XL/5 make you 2 heads shorter compare to Galaxy Note and 1 head shorter to Galaxy S3.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 KO ip 4XL/5 immediately & body-down in all functions.

Think you're being a sissy to afraid of using a big screen phone.
Millions of brave girls and woman does not feel awkward or coward holding a Galaxy Note 1. So why are you?
Even my 12 years old kid disliking all thinny ip 4, 4X, 4XL/5, and wanted only a Galaxy Note 2 for his present.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-08 04:38 from v0Xt - click to readSo, where the heck is it? Nothing? I guess not! So stop insisting that it's just an app! If that was so, they should have had it a very long time ago. Granted that your phone can handle the demanded process, you can't claim to have had it first for a mobile pocketable device. It'd be silly also to be doing that in a small screen (because it's what you all wanted!)to be even doing a split-screen in the first place! Innovate much lately?

I will tell you why apple fanbois are really scared about samsung and especially the note 2.

In the past samsung had great products and a wide range of devices but were a bit rough around the edges with android.

With the new Note 2
- The build quality is now first rate
- Software quality is finally great
- Updates are now being pushed out quickly

Combine this with
- android store offering everything the apple store does
- hardware being better (micro SD, external batteries, big screens NFC etc)
- Software is now really smooth and still totally customisable
- things like SPLIT SCREEN

AND YOU HAVE A DEVICE THAT IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD!

> In reply to ihate-imitate @ 2012-10-08 01:30 from sF$q - click to readI agree with the build quality, although I prefer features over design.

-iOS in iPhone 5 has the buttery smooth UI that even JB cant come close - Agree with you here again, although I would prefer every so slight lag for more features.

"It has AMAZING battery life (see tests)"
-are you comparing a big battery with a medium battery like in iPhone 5?????
But this is not an issue, you can always get yourself an external battery.
-You are wrong here, just because apple put a small battery in there doesn't mean you can't compare it. The battery is much worse, and is not replaceable.

"The screen (now non pentile) is the best on any android device."
-RETINA display in iPhone 5 has a higher resolution than super Amoled
-It is a lower resolution, only higher PPI which makes no real difference, so you are wrong.

In addition, the SGNote2 with the unreasonably big body makes you look like a fool when you make phone calls.
-It is not unreasonably big, the iPhone is unreasonably small.

In short, iPhone 5 beats SGNote2 in all areas.
-In short, iPhone 5 is the phone you want, and love, and nothing will change your mind. Thats fine, just know there are better things out there.

Now this is interesting. Better utilization of the quad cores! Hopefully by the time they go octo cores, they can implement this system to all apps to take advantage of multi-core processing.

Samsung, I ask you this question.

Are you too scared to simply overlap all the applications running providing they don't explicitly need full screen at all time such as a high end game.

over lap them all and let people move them about, or are we too scared of Microsoft's hand of the law?

> In reply to ihate-imitate @ 2012-10-08 01:30 from sF$q - click to readYes, this person has got to be the biggest troller so far.

These guys are in denial - what do you put on your to protect your scratch-prone aluminum phone? PLASTIC.

Can yours do split-screen true multi-tasking like downloading and surfing at the same time? NO, because your OS turns off stuff to optimize what your are currently using.

Can yours do direct wired/wireless file sharing? NO

Does your current OS have their own maps - WORKING PROPERLY? NO

Can your phone properly do drawing/sketches accurately with a Wacom active S Pen option? NO

Can your phone track your eyes and auto-orient the screen for you? NO

Does yours have higher pixel count? 1136 x 640 against 1280 x 720? NO, and you would just count how yours have a higher ppi.

Can you change batteries so that you need not wait for charging? NO

Can you talk & use LTE at the same time? NO

Can your 1080p video recording integrate stereo audio recording (despite have 3 microphones? NO, only mono audio recording!

Can you use your old accessories like stereo music mount without a $30 special accessory connector? NO

Does your have the problem of grounding antenna resulting in loss of signal because of the all metal back and sides? YES

Does your new 6th edition OS update been causing problems like weak or no WiFi connections like in 4th generation Touch units? YES

You see, I've read all I could and my wife was planning to get the phone you so admire. After all the disappointing aspects of that phone, there's no way she's buying it anymore. Have you read and tried all of Samsung's flagship units? No? Because you probably are afraid to be impressed with them or stubbornly just plain die-hard fan no matter how stagnant your phone is.

You be happy with your mid-ranged functioning phone. We don't want it in this forum. We are not impressed. We hope you just get out in your denial that there are better units out there. But I guess you won't get it until all the features will be in your preferred phone brand in 2 to 3 years time.

1) if you have a look at the drop tests both the iphone and Note 2 are on par, screen still intact with no scratches or cracks but both have dents on the corners. Given that the iphones aluminium alloy body scratches easier I (and many reviewers) would say polycarbonate is better.

2)My Note 2 arrives today but from videos i challenge anyone to find any lag or stutter or delay on either phone.

3)The iphone does have a higher ppi but even on the note i cant make out pixels and the Note 2 is sharper, plus the amoled displays have black blacks and make the iphones look washed out.

4) after using a note for a day it felt just like a normal phone, with everyone using 4.5-4.8 inch phones the note is defiantly not out of place.

SCREEN SIZE IS NOT A FAULT, ITS A CHOICE...

Its just funny that other phone fans feel the need to try and bag a phone that doesn't have an real faults but go your hardest, make yourself look stupid.
